Welcome to Utopia! We are a social inclusion initiative working to address educational and social disadvantage. Our education, community and mental health & wellbeing services support young people and parents in building resilience, enhancing learning opportunities and improving life chances. Our commitment to providing Accessible, Approachable and Aspirational interventions ensures that we deliver services with people at the heart of them.

Our Independent Special School supports young people aged 13-16 in possession of an Education Health and Care Plan. We work with young people with Autism, anxiety and emotional based school avoidance to provide a small and nurturing education environment where students can thrive.

Mental Health and Wellbeing

Our mental health and wellbeing service hatch supports young people aged 8-16 experiencing anxiety, low mood and mild/moderate depression. Young people can access 1-1 support from trained volunteer mentors to learn strategies to cope with the difficulties they are facing in a safe, nurturing and welcoming space.

Utopia support the local community in a range of projects, designed to empower people who may traditionally struggle to access services. Our accessible and approachable ethos allows us to break down traditional barriers to engagement and create relationships with the community that affect positive change.

“My son’s attitude, behaviour and whole outlook on life and other people has changed completely, he is a totally different person. Utopia has transformed him from a little boy into a respectable young man, the staff are amazing.”
