This full day course focuses on understanding; attachment, trauma and ACE’s, with a particular focus on young people who are CLA, SEND and Young Carers . The course offers a person centred approach to working with these cohorts and is ideal for professionals including; foster carers, social workers, mentors and teachers.
Real life experience and relevant intervention training
Crisis Management & De-escalation
This full day course introduces the key principles of supporting young people in crisis and how to effectively manage situations of conflict in education settings. It provides practical strategies and interventions delivered by trainers with a wealth of experience in challenging settings. Ideal for professionals working in residential settings, SEN teachers and NQT’s.
Establishing a Platform for Effective Learning
This full day course introduces the basic principles of classroom management and low level intervention and focuses on early intervention and planning as a means of influencing the classroom environment. Ideal for teachers, NQT’s and teaching assistants. This programme is a great introduction or refresher for all education professionals.
Creative Facilitation
A fun and hands on, full day course that uses principles of informal education that provides participants with a range of sessions for delivery to a variety of young people. Course principles focus on use of; metaphor, teamwork and development training strategies and is ideal for youth workers, mentors and outdoor instructors. This course can also be adapted for companies interested in corporate team building events.
